Petite, light and easy to use, the A55 weighs a mere 84 grams. With hands free speakerphone and central scrolling key for ease of navigation, this great-value fashion phone allows the user the complete freedom to communicate. The A55 offers polyphonic ring tones, as well as images, sounds and animations for EMS (Enhanced Message Service) communication.
There is also a Calling Faces feature, which lets users identify callers at a glance by attributing pictures to each phone book entry. Thanks to a WAP 1.2.1 browser, A55 owners can download further images, sounds and animations directly onto their phone.

MC 60 Good Points: Very Tough. Great Battery Life. Easy Interface
Bad Points: Terrible Camera. Rubbish Resolution. Low Sound Quality. Very Small Memory
General comments: It has been through a lot... at one point I dropped it in a lake, and I had to dive in and get it, but guess what? It worked again straight away. I once left it out on my shed roof overnight when there was a storm, and the next day it was in the middle of the garden, sodden wet, and the cover had come off, but it still worked. So this phone must be the most durable phone in the world. Kudos on that. However... the camera... poor. You cant really tell what it is the picture is of. The display is terrible as well, with only 4000 colours, if you try to display anything it looks like a mess.

The BenQ-Siemens SF65 is a compact & stylish clamshell opening mobile phone which comes in a choice of colours which include polar white & onyx black. The phone has a very smooth coated finish which makes it highly desirable in looks. The handset is very solid & robust for a clamshell phone & weighs 97 grams which provides a quality feel. The size of the handset is 91 x 44 x 23 mm which provides a very usable & compact feel. The phone is similar in features to the Nokia 2652 & the Nokia V220 mobile phones but all the phones have a very unique & attractive look of their own.
The phone comes with a 65k colour screen (128 x 160 pixels) which will provide the user with a colourful display. The SF65 comes with a built in 1.3 megapixel camera with 4 x zoom & flash feature. The camera can be operated by the user opening the clamshell mechanism then twisting the screen 180 degrees & repositioning the screen in the opposite position. The phone looks like a small digital camera & all the operating camera keys can be used very easily when the screen is in this position.

BenQ-Siemens had developed a "Black Box concept phone," which took home some Chinese design award earlier this year. The idea apparently is to turn the phone into one large screen, and change function depending on whatever application you need at the time: a calculator, an FM radio, the phone itself (duh), and something that looks like a game involving a goldfish and possibly a bathtub drain (we're not really sure). You know, this reminds us a lot of that possible iPhone patent we spotted earlier this month -- hopefully Apple can pick up where BenQ-Siemens left off?
